    Shakespeare's Domestic Economies, then, represents an insightful contribution to a feminist materialist reappraisal of early modern English culture, as well as offering a productive perspective from which to understand not only Shakespeare's plays, but the literature, both dramatic and nondramatic, of early modern England.
